Being interviewed is a large part of my job, and I do it a lot, so it helps that I like it. And every now and then I get that extra-special thrill of appearing in one of my favorite publications. This week is one of those moments, and so I share it with you, as I've dipped my toe into The New Yorker for the very first time.
I've looked forward to this ever since my dad, Peter Post, was interviewed by The New Yorker on how to behave if you are Vice President Cheney and you have injured one of your friends (with a shotgun, no less). My interview wasn't quite so sensational--wine pouring--but it was still a fun conversation with the journalist. (And to be clear, ladies, feel free to ask someone to pass the wine so you can pour for yourselves. Just say please.)
Wow - New York one day and San Francisco a week later! : ) It was a pleasure meeting you at BlogHer08. My daughter loved the book you signed for her and I'll be checking this site often. I'm interested to hear what you thought of the conference.
And I'll soon be blogging an update to my post on Emergency Room etiquette!
(My husband appreciated the chocolate! Men!)
